The organization is legally established as a non-profit social group, aiming to align with national policies. It is composed of professionals and groups from industry, government, academia, and research institutions. The purpose is to enhance practical applications related to family inheritance planning, facilitate exchanges with international inheritance planning institutions, and engage with professionals in the field.

Successful Milestones
- Dr. Lim Xiu and Proffesor from the University of Hong Kong jointly established the International Chinese Inheritance Academy, with Dr. Lim Xiu serving as the first Executive Director.
- The initial focus of the academy was on sharing knowledge related to family and corporate governance, international inheritance regulations, and formulating inheritance solutions suitable for Chinese culture through lectures and summits.
- Collaborative efforts with Guangdong South China University of Technology targeted small and medium-sized business owners conducting inheritance courses in the South China region.
- The teaching format shifted from seminars and summits to specialized certification courses. Collaborations were established with financial, insurance, and educational institutions in Hong Kong, expanding the participant demographic from business owners to university students.
- An office was established in the Tianhe District of Guangzhou. Collaborative efforts were undertaken with several renowned universities in mainland China to organize heritage courses.
- A collaboration was established with the School of Education at Jinan University in Guangzhou to develop courses tailored for enterprises and family legacies in the southern regions of China. These courses integrated content from Western business management practices, and upon completion, participants were conferred with a university diploma.
- The inaugural Certified Family Wealth Inheritance Planner (CFWIP) Course was held in Hong Kong, marking the first such event in Asia. The cumulative participation across all courses and seminars conducted by the institution surpassed 10,000 individuals.
- The Certified Family Wealth Inheritance Planner (CFWIP) Course was officially registered in the United States. It gained recognition as a mandatory course under the Association of Family Inheritance Planner (AFIP) and served as a credential for certified heritage planners.
- The Certified Family Wealth Inheritance Planner (CFWIP) Course organized 11 events in Hong Kong, Macau, Guangdong, and Kuala Lumpur. The total number of participants exceeded 1,000 during these engagements.
- The International Chinese Inheritance Academy established an office in Taiwan and formally applied to the Ministry of the Interior to become a part of the International Chinese Inheritance Association.
- The International Chinese Inheritance Association was formally established in Taiwan, with Mr. Liao Zhansheng, possessing a wealth of financial and economic knowledge across the straits, assuming the role of the inaugural chairman.
- The association organized the first edition of the Certified Family Wealth Inheritance Planner (CFWIP) Course.
- The International Chinese Inheritance Association in Taiwan witnessed a membership and enrollment for certification courses exceeding 1,000 individuals.
- Collaborating with prominent Taiwanese universities, the association engaged experts to collectively develop specialized research reports and solutions focused on family business governance, tax law, and wealth inheritance tailored for Taiwanese contexts.
- The Malaysian Family Heritage Association was formally established in Kuala Lumpur, having successfully registered with the Register of Society Malaysia (ROS). The inaugural chairperson is Mrs. Vicky Tan.
- The International Chinese Inheritance Association welcomed Mr. Wang Xin as the Chairman for its second term.
- Furthermore, the International Chinese Inheritance Academy, in collaboration with the Greater Bay Area Family Office Association, organized the first edition of the Innovative Family Office and Wealth Inheritance Certificate Program. Successful completion of this program is equivalent to obtaining a Bachelor's degree in the United Kingdom.
- Additionally, collaborative efforts between the International Chinese Heritage Academy and organizations such as the Greater Bay Family Office Association resulted in the publication of the monthly magazine "Inheritance Journal", which is distributed free of charge in the Greater Bay Area.
